ESC-060kJ-FES ESC Series – epic power Supercapacitor Converter Epic Supercapacitor Converter 060kJ Fast Emergency Supply for drives The ESC-60kJ-FES includes the Fast Emergency Supply for drives firmware that configures the ESC product to act as a fast response emergency supply for drives. The unit automatically detects power failures and feed the drive to continue working for a specific amount of time. That time can be defined according to the power consumption. Connections and operation The ESC-60kJ-FES easily connects to the DC link of the drive and stays on standby until a power failure happens. The unit provides all the power to the drive connected for several seconds and charges the supercapacitors right after recovering the mains supply.
