Add-On Communications Communications Solutions for machine manufactures and system integrators such as communication devices, software and smart battery charging tools CAN CANopen LIFT Interface CAN Smart Battery Charging Device CAN Custom Interface CAN – CANopen LIFT Interface CANopen LIFT is the universal solution for elevator control and all network elements. The P2S product has been included, with the name of “Intelligent Power Supply Unit”, as a new Virtual Device Function in the CANopen Lift Protocol (CiA 417). The intelligent power supply manages the energy of the lift allowing to use the lift in case of power failure during several trips and improving the energy balance of the lift by storing brake energy. Now with the “CAN – CANopen LIFT Interface” the solutions for elevators are easier to integrate. Smart Battery Charging Device The “Smart Battery Charging Device” is an add-on device to the EPC series converters that communicates through CAN to command the charging operation of your battery. The “Smart Battery Charging Device” integrates a battery charging profile that regulates the different stages of charge needed in any battery. The device supports the charging of any kind of battery (lead-acid, lithium…) that works within the range of operation of the EPC series converter installed. The “Smart Battery Charging Device” ensures the correct charge of the battery, its safety and reliability as the charging operation is done according to the manufacturer recommendations. CAN – Custom Interface “CAN – Custom Interface” is intended to integrate the what especial control that our customer need. This device allows to our customers to integrate easily of our bidirectional DC/DC converters in his own application. The “Custom Interface” gives the possibility of working in a special Autonomous Mode according to the desired specification. Real Time Device The “Real Time device” is an add-on device to the EPC series converters used to control and log the main parameters of the DC/DC converters with just a direct cable connection to a computer (off-line). In addition, it can work online to extract as well all the information available and save it to the cloud. That information is easily accessible by the user and allows for remote support, data extraction and logging. Read more The “Real Time Device” connects your EPC series converters with the cloud to make them accessible from anywhere in the world. The real time logging allows for on-line support and quick problem solving. Also, it can be used to extract information of use behavior, energy used, peak power and errors.
